In 2018, three friends sat in a Nashville kitchen frustrated by a music industry that valued streaming numbers over artistic integrity. They decided to build something different — a label where artists kept creative control and fans could actually own the music they loved.
Today RecordLabel is home to 24 artists spanning soul, R&B, neo-soul, and indie folk. Every track on our platform is either free to stream or available to purchase directly — no subscription, no algorithm, no gatekeeper.
We believe music is one of the most human things we make. It deserves to be shared generously and supported directly. That's the whole idea.
